A new innovative home renovation show has debuted on 9Life this week demonstrating how to undertake budget friendly energy-efficient upgrades without an extensive renovation.
Big Little Reno features a before and after Home Energy Rating assessment as it follows Canberra couple Chiara and Rory who are updating their 1970s suburban home.
The assessment guides targeted improvements that help reduce energy use while also making the home look better and feel more comfortable.
The show features building scientist Jenny Edwards as host. Supported by electrician Tamarah Vos and builder Matt Minichelli, Jenny delivers top tips and advice during the episode on how everyone can make their home more energy efficient.
Big Little Reno is supported by the Reliable Affordable Clean Energy (RACE) for 2030 Cooperative Research Centre, the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and CSIRO.
If you missed Big Little Reno last Sunday, you can catch the re-run on 9Life this Saturday 3 October at 12.30pm, or for a limited time, you can also see it on demand via 9Now.
The team is now looking for more homeowners who are keen to be part of the first full season of the show. Visit the Big Little Reno website for details on how to apply.
