This month a new series of upgrade examples have been published to help homeowners identify the best options for home improvements for various climate zones. There are options for upgrading single dwellings, townhouses and apartments. The examples also compare upfront costs for upgrades, as well as projected annual running costs and savings per year. The handy resources can also be used by assessors to help explain home-specific upgrade guidance to households.
The new examples complement the previous upgrade examples for single dwellings, apartments and multi-unit buildings published in August.
Other new and updated resources to check out include:
- a new web page with key information on the benefits of a rating, when to get one and comparisons to other energy scoring and assessment products
- a refreshed Assessor communications kit with new messaging to help explain what makes a Home Energy Rating different to other systems.
